R.E.A.L. Dialogues

HUUMS is sponsoring the final REAL Dialogue session:
Re-imagining HDS: Thursday, April 21, 2016, 6:00-7:30pm (Divinity Chapel)

Race, Ethnicity, Awareness, and Liberation (REAL) Dialogues. REAL Dialogues are an interactive and intergroup three part dialogue series. During the series, participants will have an opportunity to explore topics of colorism, microaggression, and re-imagination. The aim of the dialogue series is to promote and facilitate social and environmental change. This will be accomplished through the engagement of a diverse range of individuals, communities, and viewpoints to explore the impact of colorism, race, power, privilege and how they intersect with all forms of oppression. Series facilitators will use collective group sharing as well as affinity group.

If you would like to join us at 5:30 pm there will be refreshments at each session. We would love to chat and get to know each of you better before the start of the break-out session. We do hope that you will be able to join us. Also please do not hesitate to extend this invitation to your friends.
